What does this all MEAN?
Site5 is bringing something new for Summer 2008. It’s time to up our hosting game once again.
While I could continue (for the sake of blogging) to be vague and aloof and cryptic about what it could be (hosting 3.0? green hosting? cloud hosting? Site5 gridocitygridflow gridboxes? other innovative and trademarked-pending buzzwords?) I will simply cut to the chase.
We will be unveiling a relaunch of our entire brand with a completely new site, a fresh look, new services and more. Okay, we’re pretty well known for launching a “new” Site5 every few weeks or so, but this time we’re serious. It’s a new new. Teaser images don’t lie. We’re hard at work and can’t wait to show it off.
We will be keeping pretty much everything top secret until the big unveiling. In the meantime, however, I will be using this blogging medium to tease, draw out suspense and build hype as the countdown draws near.

What is this so called countdown… I don’t see a clock anywhere!
All I know is the lack of information could be good or bad… Right now I can only think of the bad which is me coming up with ideas of what “it” is so if it’s not well that could be disappointing…

I know what you are thinking, AMDbuilder- Site5 VPS services. I doubt that is it. Likely the new Site5 Web site they have mentioned.

I didn’t have VPS on my mind at the time, but I know it’s becoming more and more of an issue to me as some of my sites get close to the RUP limits…
All I can say is I still want the countdown clock so I can take guesses at what might be coming…

Very much looking forward to this! I just got a VPS with you all and would love a surprise soon:-).
Notice how it says it’s coming “For Summer 2008″, which means it should be available to use for the Summer, as opposed to be released August 29th…:-)

“relaunch of our entire brand with a completely new site” .. will it still be site5.com??
hope we can see more option of shared hosting plan available. VPS is a good package to offer too (suggested above).
